Unlike a traditional home elevator located in a closed-in shaftway, the Vuelift is designed for maximum visual impact both inside and outside the cab, thanks to an integrated, steel-framed hoistway crafted with premium clear acrylic panels which far exceed code requirements for strength and won’t discolor over time—the model installed at Vista Serena—or crystal clear low-iron silica glass for ultimate clarity with no green hue.
That integrated hoistway also means a Vuelift can be placed almost anywhere in a floorplan to maximize the visual impact of the elevator itself, make the best use of daylighting design techniques—and, of course, the home’s exterior landscape setting.
It also takes up 7 to 10 fewer square-feet in the floorplan compared to traditional home elevator models. The Vuelift also requires a pit depth of only 4" compared to a traditional unit at 6-10".
