On two lower levels, stockroom and storage areas are accessible to staff only. To get inventory from back-of-house to the main floor, a vertical reciprocating conveyor (VRC) was installed to carry the goods between floors quickly and efficiently—whether in boxes for restocking shelves or as a full rack ready to display.

Dumbwaiters, material lifts and VRCs help make the best use of the most expensive retail space. By moving storage from street-level to lower floors, they may save thousands of dollars a year in lease costs, as below-ground space typically leases for 80% less than street level. Vertical material handling systems also reduce manual labor and wait time to enhance the shopping experience.

A Matot VRC by Savaria was chosen for its durability and design customization options. VRCs are available with platform sizes up to 60" x 86" and 2500 lb capacity. They can be floor-loading for dollies, wheeled carts or racks, or counter-height for loading by hand. Three opening configurations are available: single side, opposite sides, and adjacent side/90-degree. Ideal flight time between terminal landings is around 30–45 seconds.
