With a capacity of 1400 lb, the Orion MRL is engineered for up to 200 trips a day.
Its ADA-compliant, space-saving design includes an optional door buck controller so no machine room is required. With a minimum pit depth of 17" and minimum overhead clearance of 111" (113" for Orion 17 cab) in retrofit applications, and 134" in new construction, it fits into tight spaces and also helps reduce construction time and cost.
Compared to a traditional hydraulic LU/LA elevator, it can save up to 20-square-feet of space—a key consideration for any application, but even more so in areas like Manhattan’s Bond Street, where retail lease space can cost over $250 per square-foot a year.
