“This is such a great initiative to be part of,” says Eric Bishun, General Manager of Savaria Ontario, the company’s Greater Toronto-based sales and installation office. “We get to work with our great partners at the Greenpark Group, who build the home each year, as well as seeing the joy from the winners and knowing all the proceeds go to fund important cancer research!”
Bishun’s team installs a Savaria Infinity home elevator for each Spring Lotto grand prize home, selecting the hydraulic drive model for its ride quality and versatility. Cab configurations and details are driven by collaboration with Greenpark.
“Because these are ‘spec’ homes that are being given away, but are also a showcase for everyone involved, we sometimes get to have a little fun with the cabs,” says Bishun.
Prior years’ designs include Antique White cabs with blackened stainless steel fixtures, and Driftwood melamine with stainless steel. “We match the cab to the home’s interior design each year,” says Bishun. “But one thing stays the same: the Infinity is our go-to for its quality and reliability. We want the lucky winner to enjoy the ride for years to come.”
