For this stunning modern coastal home, a closed-in elevator shaft and cab were out of the question.
The answer? A custom glass-cab Savaria Eclipse in a glass hoistway.
“Every detail of this home is geared for a light, airy, tropical feel—from the huge windows to the floating stairs to the white-and-grey marble floors—and the elevator had to contribute to that sense of almost-weightlessness,” says Kyle Filer, General Manager of Florida Lifts LLC, a division of Savaria USA.
Stainless steel structural components are matched with the elevator fixtures, while the glass cab and hoistway leave a clear view to the lift mechanics for an added touch of industrial chic.
